Exploring at Night!

Lexi and the cats were checking out the pool progress. Right now we have to water the gunite about 3 times a day while it's curing. Today is Saturday and it's day 6. We have to water for 10 days in a row. They came and did the electrical and hooked the pool lights up, conected the electrical box to where the pump will go and took all the wooden post's out from around the side of the pool. We are making super progress!!! All in all it's been a great experience!! Rob's getting super excited and we pretend to swim and jump in right now!!! I guess I can cancel my tanning membership since I will be uber tan next summer!! :-) Well I still have the cruise in Jan to get ready for so I won't cancel it yet !!!

GUNITE!!!!

Whooooo Hooooooo!!!!

Oh yeah oh yeah!!! We got the plumbing done and passed the pre-gunite inspection with the City!!!! The pool people called today and said the City would be out Friday or Monday....but I called the City and they came right out this afternoon. That's what happens when you live in a small town!!!!

So now we wait for the Gunite Crew to come out!!!!! Whooo Hooooo!!!!!!!!

Plumbing Got Started

They came about noon to start the plumbing. YEAH!!!!!! They will come and finish on thursday and hopefully we will pass the pre-gunite inspection on Friday!!!! Whooo Hoooo!!!!

No shows......

No plumbing today....bummer.....maybe crack of dawn on Wednesday they will be here ????????

Waiting for plumbing....

Swan said the plumbers would be out today....we shall see. It's 1:28 PM right now. Seems to me they get off work here pretty soon.

My pool has braces!!!

Re-Bar Time!!!!

They are doing the re-bar today. Got here at 6:45 AM!!!! Next it's plumbing and then maybe gunite end of the week....

I'm going to try and get some photos of the workers today as a special favor to the women in my hubby's office!! You know who you are!!!!!! LOL :-)

There is a hole.....

WOW!!! The hole is dug and they will be back in the AM to finish it. I think there is more deep end to dig and some finish work from them......

DIG IT BABY DIG IT!!!!

Well they are back today (Oct 13th) to finish my dig....whooo hoooo!!! Here's a friend of mine Josh who was so excited that the big man and the big tractor were in my back yard. He was going back and forth between 2 windows.

A little progress.....

The SBC phone guy came out today and re-routed the phone line. YEAH!!!! Now we are ready to dig. They can't come out on Thursday but hopefully on Friday!!! Whoo Hoooo!!!!

Phone Lines....

I had to e-mail digi photos of my phone lines to a engineer in Napa so she could figure out some stuff. Love the way the internet can help out in times like this.....

A Little News....

Well the phone company says they can just move the phone line and do an "aerial drop" from the telephone line to the house. They will come out this upcoming Wednesday and do that. So hopefully the pool will get dug very very soon after that.

WHAT NOW?????

Well we just found out that the phone line goes right through the pool.....have a phone call into the engineer of this area for SBC to call me and find a solution.....digging has stopped and there is no one here now......

Wednesday ---Oct 5th

Well they were here at 7AM!!! Nice and early. They had this HUGE backhoe and a bobcat in my backyard. They got a huge tree stump out and then hit a very old septic tank that they had to take out and will backfill here any minute. Of course that's 3 extra hours of the excavators time. Nothing goes as plans right? :-)

they are coming today to dig the hole......At least that's what they say they are doing. We shall see
