Night Swims........

I came home from having dinner with Tam and the family was swimming around 10:00 PM....night swims when the day is HOT are heaven!!!! The pool was around 86 degrees during the day and just perfect for cooling off.

Here's my pool boy and he honestly never takes a day off....he's always working around the pool, even during the late hours and making sure the pool sweep is working.

You would not believe the number of bathing suits and towels that have already
come forth and multiplied around my house!!!!!

Lexi practicing her dives. I really want her to do fall swim with GABE and keep having her practice.........We shall see if she really wants to do it....she can be shy about trying her things.

I'm sure this comes as no shock to most of you that Lexi likes to boss Josh around. He's a pretty good listener to her and will always mostly do what she ask's of him......LOL......there have been a few "friend quarrels" but they always hug and make up!!!! They are too cute!!

Go Jake Go!!! Jakes got great with his swimming so far this summer and just goes for it!!!!

You can always find Justin around the basketball hoop, practicing his mad hoop skills!!!!!

Almost TIME!!!!

Okay so yeah it's still a bit rainy here in Nor Cal. We got our pool filled up in Feb of 06 I believe. I will have to scroll down and ready my blog to see the exact date. I can't wait for summer!!! I want to set the bar up, get the music pumping (LUIS you better burn me those Cuban CD's!) , fill the outdoor fridge and have the friends over!!!!

So girls get those bikinis waxed and boys start pumping iron cause it's almost swim suit season...oh wait....don't you know the rules at our house? COME AS YOU ARE!!!!! Chest hair or no chest hair......cellulite on the legs...no problem......Our CASA is for kicking back, chillin and being with friends.......are you ready?

Happy Anniversary Water Bill

So I just looked at the blog and we got our pool filled Feb 3rd of 2006. Happy Anniversary to our pool!!! So it's been a year and the PG&E and water company is our best friend!!!!!

Thanks to the pool boy (he's totally hot) for taking such great care of the pool all summer and winter!!!!

BORING

Okay there is nothing going on in the backyard at all....nada..nothing....the water is FREEZING and I can't wait for the nicer weather to get back here and enjoy the pool!!!!!!

Cooling Off.......

After going to a bike race in 100 degree weather it felt good to cool off in the pool....I love the lighting in some of these photos.......sunset colors.........don't mind the power poles though!!!

Summer FUN

Summer is here and the living is fine......We have had 100 Degree days and it's been great having the pool. We had all the cousins over last weekend for a fathers day BBQ. Lots of cousin fun that day!!!

We got some nice evening swims in last weekend....the water said it was about 80 and after being super hot all day it was nice to cool off......

I love water......

Summers here and the living is fine!!! Here's Wolfie doing a flip and some of the landscaping that Rob put in last weekend!! Can't wait for it to grow in all the way...he did a great job!!!

First Pool Party !

Okay even though it was a little cold Friday afternoon we had a pool party. You can see in the background there is still lots of work to do around the pool!!!

Salt Water Heaven!!

The pool was up and running by the pool company and then all the rains came and knocked the salt water a bit out of whack. Rob's been working hard to get the salt and salinity back to where it should be. Already there are no red eyes and you can feel the water is different than the chlorine pools.



Lexi's been in the pool every single day. I can't hardly keep her out of it. We call her the polar bear. The pool was 76 degrees last night about 8pm. I'm really excited to see how warm it gets when we get some 80-90-100 degree days!!!




Both kids are loving the pool. Wolfie's been sick for a while with muscle and joint pain. He told me the other day that when he's swimming he feels great with no body pain. Swimming is so great on the body and I'm praying that this really does the trick for him. I have started swimming laps but both kids are all over me so I will need to start some "Mommy Time" in the pool now.




My hubby saw this toy the other day and begged me to not turn the backyard into a circus!!! LOL



If you don't already have some CROCS GET SOME NOW!!! They don't slip around the pool and it's great for when your dressed and cleaning the leaves out of the pool!!!

Swimming FUN!!!!

Okay so it was about 78 today in the afternoon and the kids could not help but go swimming!!! It was almost 70 degrees in the pool and even our doggie Max joined in the fun!!!

SPIDER!!! RUN!!!!

My pool boy Rob was cleaning out the pool Saturday morning. He found this and saved it to show the kids and myself. EWWWWWWW Although Deb tells me that mice might be doing laps also.....ewwwwwww . Rob tells me it's a wolf spider and totally not harmfull.....my question to Rob and the spider is: Harmful to who?

59 Degrees !!!!

Okay the kids could NOT WAIT!!! Once I gave them the green light (Don't touch the bottom yet kids) they were all over it. It was only 59 degrees in there!!! My daughter only went in a bit but son jumped in all the way ! Brrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
